It is a completely 3D mobile game, possibly taking advantage of Unreal Engine, playable in either portrait or landscape orientation. However, the Missing-Link trailer is the more interesting of the two. How Missing-Link fits into the overall narrative is a mystery. With characters like Strelitzia and the Master of Masters appearing in Kingdom Hearts 4, it seems that KHUX is becoming more and more of a crucial title in the series. Meanwhile, Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link seems to be set directly after the events of Kingdom Hearts Union χ (or KHUX). It was announced for Winter 2021 but got delayed.
